Bottoms Up

An entertainment and guest space basement renovation.  A tightly constrained dark basement with a small footprint was converted into an open, bright, and inviting space serving multiple functions for a small family.   The project exploits pocket spaces for all their worth to maximize usable square footage and coheres disparate zones (a new bath, utility room, and storage spaces) through an optical dialogue of positive and negative and high- and low- resolutions.
